The first Ukrainian National Selection Committee for the United World Colleges was formed by the Ukrainian Legal Foundation in Kyiv in 1994. At that time, two scholarships were offered to Ukraine by the Lester B. Pearson UWC in Canada and the UWC of Adriatic in Italy. Since 1996 however, Ukraine has been regularly receiving from 4 to 6 full scholarship offers from UWCs in Canada, Italy, Norway, Wales, India, and USA.
To date, Ukraine has been offered scholarships to these UWCs:
This year (2010) Ukraine has been offered 3 (three) full academic scholarships (travel and pocket money not included) to the following UWC:

| II. | Red Cross Nordic UWC (Norway) | -- 1 (one) full academic scholarship |
